A hill-station break needs its own time
Mount Abu is a hill destination with a different rhythm from a palace-and-lake city break in Udaipur. Rajasthan Tourism lists Nakki Lake, the Dilwara temples and Guru Shikhar among its attractions. Choose a few of these deliberately instead of treating Mount Abu as a quick extra name on a multi-city itinerary.
The plan below assumes two usable days after reaching Mount Abu. If your transport arrives late on day one, shorten the list. It is a suggested itinerary shape, not a departure schedule, and it does not establish current opening hours or activity availability.
Day 1: settle in, then explore around Nakki Lake
Make arrival, bag drop and a meal the first block. Start with the Nakki Lake area once the group is ready, allowing time for an unhurried walk and a break. This gives solo joiners a chance to get acquainted without immediately committing everyone to a long excursion.
If boating is important to you, check current operation, charges and any restrictions before treating it as part of the plan. A general lake visit and a paid activity on the water are separate decisions. Keep the late afternoon for one optional viewpoint or simply more time around town, according to conditions and the group pace.
Day 2: choose culture, a viewpoint or both carefully

If the group wants both the temples and Guru Shikhar, ask the operator to show a realistic sequence with travel, visiting time and lunch. Do not place both in a short morning simply because they appear on the same destination page. Respect worshippers and follow the instructions displayed at religious sites.
Make an option genuinely optional
A group itinerary should explain what happens to someone who skips an excursion. Remaining alone at an isolated stop while the vehicle continues is different from having free time near the hotel. Ask where people can wait, how they rejoin and whether any cost changes.
Before booking, share walking preferences and any access requirements privately with the organiser. Do not assume that a vehicle reaching a viewpoint means there are no steps beyond the drop-off. A clear description of the approach is more useful than a blanket label such as easy or suitable for everyone.
Separate the hill transfer from the long-distance journey
For a Delhi NCR enquiry, request the actual station, bus drop or road pickup and the final connection to your stay. An accommodation name and an arrival-city name are not enough to work out when sightseeing can begin. Check the same details for the return.

Pack for the plan you have chosen
Bring walking shoes, a day bag, a reusable water bottle and clothing suitable for temple visits. Check the forecast close to departure and add layers for the conditions expected at your stay and outings. General Rajasthan season guidance is only a starting point for a hill destination.
